A
ACETYLATED LANOLIN ALCOHOL
Functions as an emulsifier to blend
water-soluble ingredients with water-insoluble ingredients in the Rejuvé 3 hair
care line leaving the hair and skin soften and smooth.
ALKALINE
Many hair care
products include alkaline components, which open pores.
ALLANTOIN
Non-irritating
powerful anti-inflammatory that soothes and promotes cell renewal of irritated
skin, quickly improves scalp conditions.
ALPHA-TOCOPHEROL (Vitamin E)
Aids in scalp circulation due to increased
oxygen to the blood, preventing dry, dull
skin, age spots, falling
out of hair and dandruff.
AMONIUM LAUREL SULFATE
Primary surfactant used to lower the surface tension of a liquid, allowing easier spreading, widely used as a cleansing agent in relatively mild shampoos for oily or normal to oily hair.
ANHYDROUS LANOLIN USP
A water-absorbing base material and a natural emulsifier,
absorbs and holds water to the hair and skin.
ANTIOXIDANTS
Applied
topically, antioxidants neutralize free radicals before they attach themselves
to the cell membrane and destroy the cell. They are added to cosmetic
formulations to prevent oxidation.
APRICOT OIL
Natural emollient that smoothes, softens, and protects. High in Vitamin
E, it gives glow and freshness to skin.
ASCORBIC ACID (VITAMIN C)
Powerful antioxidant used at Derjers International as a preservative and emulsion stabilizer.
